Studying History, is really interesting for the students to have sometimes primary source, as they can feel the History more real, not only like a bunch of dates. We've read the discovery letter of Cristobal Colón to the Catholic Monarchs, explaining the new land he had found. Starting with this interesting part of the history of Spain, we're going to fill this family tree, to have clear all the names and family relations between the historical characters.
Class activity : an in deep look on the global trade, thanks to Bitesize. Watch the interactive video and try to do the test below! We've just started a new unit, " The economic activity and work". Last week we talked in class about the consumption. We also did a reading, an in-deep look, about the consumption around the world, and the consumerism in our society. Finally, the whole project finished, with the class presentation. Very well done, so proud of the hard work of my students :) Power point presentation: Architecture elements, with a final thinking routine, compare and contrast, between romanesque and gothic: At this point, you should have finished the homework for this holiday. Hope you enjoy the small parts of the book, because it's a really good one :) We've finished all the units for this term, so last week we started a mini-project: the map of Valencia. In this map we show the evolution of the city by dividing it into zones, and labelling the different phases.
